Innovative design solutions deliver high-quality fitout

SHAPE delivered a high-quality office fitout on a single floor within an existing building, including a kitchen, breakout space, boardroom, meeting rooms, and open-plan office areas. Delivered under a managing contractor agreement, the project allowed early input into design reviews and cost management to meet the client’s budget and timeline.

A key value-engineering initiative involved replacing structural steel for an operable wall with a hanging rod detail approved by engineers, reducing lead times and costs while maintaining functionality. Limited local trade availability led to the engagement of an interstate joinery contractor, requiring careful coordination to achieve the high-end finishes within tight timelines.

Operating within an occupied building, SHAPE worked closely with the building management team to minimise our impact to the building tenants whilst delivering the works efficiently. The project was completed on time and on budget, delivering a functional and visually impressive office space that exceeded client expectations.
