For more than 30 years we’ve delivered commercial fitouts and refurbishment for clients in the greater Melbourne region. During that time, we have grown to over 100 employees and expanded our capabilities to include heavy refurbishment, new build and facade replacement projects. Our team has a proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes, particularly in live environments and secure spaces. At the heart of our business is a commitment to people, equality, collaboration, and sustainability. Through our initiative ReSHAPE, we work to benefit non-profit organisations by providing materials that would otherwise go to landfill.
General Manager - Adam Head
Adam joined SHAPE in 2008 as a Project Manager and has held several roles since, including Commercial Manager, Group Manager of Design & Construct, and most recently General Manager of Victoria. With more than 20 years of project management and construction experience, Adam offers a detailed understanding of project delivery. Through a partnership approach, Adam collaborates with clients in the office, hotel, education, healthcare, retail and speciality sectors to deliver projects on time and defect-free.
Adam is a father to two boys, a dog, and a cat. He is a vinyl connoisseur and avid collector, keen runner, and a long-time Carlton Blues fan.

As part of ‘Shaping Spaces’, we are committed to managing our clients’ entire project timeline from design to defect-free delivery. To ensure this, we offer Design & Construct (D&C) and turnkey solutions, which are quickly becoming the preferred method of procurement on commercial projects due to their fast-tracked and cost-effective outcomes. By engaging SHAPE early in the design process, our team can provide valuable buildability and procurement advice, allowing projects to move to build as soon as documentation is ready. Through the D&C approach, we manage the project process for clients from beginning to end, providing detailed cost reporting and project management updates throughout the build.
We built our business on Australia-wide office fitouts and refurbishments, and it’s still a large part of what we do today.
