Over the last 17 years we have expanded our capabilities beyond fitout and refurbishment and now offer a full-service approach to building. General Manager - Nicholas Mills

Career

Nicholas has been working with SHAPE since 2008, starting as a Site Supervisor with a can-do attitude and a desire to learn and develop. He has progressed from site roles to project management while gaining experience and leadership capabilities across four of SHAPE’s branch, including Darwin, Perth, Sydney, and Brisbane. In his previous role as Regional Manager, Nicholas contributed to significant growth for the NT branch, which has more than doubled in size since 2017.

Life

A proud husband to his wife, Nicole, and father to four young boys, Nicholas loves spending time with his family, swimming to escape the heat in Darwin, fishing, camping, and playing soccer.

Keeta Welch

Commercial Manager - Delivery

'Keets'

Career
Since starting with the SHAPE NT team at just 18 years of age, Keeta has risen to become Commercial Manager – Delivery. Over the last decade, she has delivered some of the Northern Territory's most exclusive projects for both local and national key clients. Her high attention to detail, integrity, and client focus ensures a high-quality and professional experience is provided to clients throughout all stages of delivery. Keeta has been recognised for her contributions to the Northern Territory construction industry with the Master Builders NT Women in Construction Award in 2020 and the NT Property Council of Australia and Hames Sharley Future Leader of the Year Award in 2022. She is SHAPE NT's State Diversity and Inclusion Champion and is also an active member in the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).

Life
Keeta is a born and bred Territorian who loves fishing, camping, dancing, rugby league, and travelling abroad.

Nick Boulton

Project Director

Career
Nick has more than 33 years’ experience in construction project management and electrical contracting, both on the client and contracting side, across the UK, South Africa, Perth, and Darwin. Having started his career as an electrician, he brings a unique technical understanding of the trades to his role as Project Director. During his career, Nick has developed a comprehensive understanding of all facets of the industry, having successfully managed projects from $10k to more than $550m across a range of sectors. This includes Defence and government, retail, education, hotels and hospitality, commercial, industrial, and residential.

Life
Originally from the UK, Nick trains in Muay Thai three times a week and has the long-term goal of doing up his 1980 Ford Escort RS2000. His favourite travel destination is Africa, and once had a job capturing and relocating Rhinos in Botswana.

Letitia Wing

Project Manager

Career
Letitia has more than 10 years’ experience in the construction industry. However, her interest in construction kicked off long before when she was a receptionist for an electrical company. During her career, she has gained experience in vacate refurbishments, large scale industrial construction, and new builds. Letitia prides herself in creating a positive environment for all involved with the project and enjoys finding solutions to new challenges to better herself as a construction professional. As Project Manager, Letitia assists in all aspects of head contract and subcontract administration, cost control, site management, and quality.

Life
Born in a remote town in the Kimberley, Letitia moved to Darwin when she was four. A bush girl at heart, she prefers camping to a luxury holiday and loves big camp oven cook ups with friends and an ice-cold beverage.

Site Manager

'Frenchy'

Career
Chris has been working in the domestic and commercial building industry doing interior fitouts for over 25 years. He thrives on working hard and working within a team to deliver first-rate projects.

Life
Originally from Queensland, Chris has lived in Darwin for over a decade but is still a NQ Cowboys supporter. He has a wife and two daughters, and enjoys renovating his house, gardening, and woodwork.

David Murphy

Estimator

‘Murphy’

Career
David is an experienced Estimator who has more than 20 years of construction industry experience, both in the commercial and residential sectors. Beginning his career as a Joiner, he gained valuable technical experience in all aspects of joinery and cabinetmaking, before moving into draftsman and client manager roles. In his role as Estimator, David draws on his technical expertise and strong subcontractor and client relationships to deliver cost-effective solutions and value engineering benefits to ensure successful clients outcomes.

Life
David is a father to his young son who keeps me on his feet. He enjoys watching AFL, working around the house, camping, and travelling interstate to see family and friends.
