This project involved the phased fitout of Wings G1 and G2 at 89 Cambridge Park Drive, supporting the Department of Health’s strategic accommodation plan for operational services, including Ambulance Tasmania and Virtual Health Hubs. The new fitout creates a flexible and inclusive workplace environment that meets the evolving needs of the department.
The scope of work includes the demolition of existing fitout, followed by the construction of new office spaces designed to foster collaboration and efficiency. Additionally, the project incorporated the installation of modern amenities, workstations, and lockers to enhance the functionality and comfort of the workspace.
A significant aspect of the project is the comprehensive electrical and mechanical upgrades. These upgrades are essential to ensure the new facilities meet current standards and can support advanced technological requirements. The electrical upgrades will include the installation of energy-efficient lighting and power systems, while the mechanical upgrades will focus on improving the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to provide a comfortable and sustainable working environment.
Overall, this project was designed to deliver a state-of-the-art facility that supports the Department of Health’s critical operational services into the future.
