CSi Club Southport engaged SHAPE to deliver a multi-stage redevelopment focused on refurbishing the majority of the club and strengthening its long-term growth. Delivered over three staged phases, the works comprised a major refurbishment of the club, incorporating new feature bars, commercial kitchen and café facilities, expanded dining and function areas, upgraded gaming and amenities, and revitalised sports, outdoor and family precincts.
Works were delivered within a fully operational Club environment, requiring detailed planning and staging throughout each phase to maintain trading continuity. SHAPE sequenced works to ensure a bar, amenities and sufficient dining seating remained available at all times, protecting monthly revenue targets. Programme certainty was maintained throughout each project stage maintaining detailed planning, structured hold points and close client communication. SHAPE worked alongside BSPN to provide buildability input as design elements evolved, resequencing trades to manage access constraints, services upgrades, asbestos discovery and delays to externally supplied play equipment.
The completed redevelopment has repositioned CSi Club Southport as a vibrant, family-friendly destination. Expanded dining for 220 guests, a high-capacity kitchen and enhanced event facilities have strengthened the Club’s operational capability, demonstrating SHAPE’s ability to deliver complex, staged refurbishments with minimal disruption and impact.
