Building a state-of-the-art community health hub to support care, collaboration and innovation in Murdoch.

After a successful tender period, the Department of Finance, on behalf of the Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS), entrusted SHAPE with the fitout of the new Murdoch Community Health Hub in the Murdoch Health & Knowledge Precinct.

The fitout spanned the Podium Level, and Levels 1 & 2, including numerous consulting and therapy rooms, variously sized meeting rooms – some with operable walls, open-plan workstations, breakout zones, receptions with large waiting areas, storerooms, and a gym.

A key element was the construction of an audiology booth and ensuring high acoustic ratings of walls with seismic bracing throughout the fitout. This process was managed with Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and photographically documented to ensure the required quality was achieved.

SHAPE has delivered multiple successful projects for the Department of Finance and is proud of the strong relationships developed with all project stakeholders. It was a pleasure working alongside CAHS and Cameron Chisholm & Nicol, who were very responsive and collaborative on this project.
