Westpac with APP engaged SHAPE to deliver the new 6,700m2 flagship office fitout which spanned across three levels within Brookfield Tower 2 in Perth’s CBD.
The fitout was undertaken as a Design and Construct contract. The pre-construction phase involved a high-level of involvement from the SHAPE project team to identify value engineering options while finalising the design collaboratively with design partner Geyer. Targeting a 6 Star Green Star rating and is registered to pursue WELL Silver Certification, SHAPE engaged a third-party Green Star and commissioning agent to assist with this process. SHAPE worked closely with both Westpac and the consultants to ensure all project expectations were met.
Defect management and rectification commenced four weeks before practical completion, allowing our site team and trade partners to actively close out defects prior to handover.
Overall this project was completed in a very tight programme, with the comms room completed within the first 8 weeks – allowing Westpac to enjoy a seamless transition into their new offices.
