Delivering future-focused learning environments for a growing school

This project replaced the school’s existing temporary classrooms with a purpose-built learning facility designed to expand teaching capacity and improve student amenities. The works delivered four new classrooms with breakout rooms, storage room, and amenities, along with a large outdoor undercover deck. The deck was a key priority for the client, offering a sheltered area to support a variety of learning and recreational activities.

The project required careful planning around school operations and the academic year to meet the client’s tight program and ensure the facility was ready for the start of the new school term.

Site constraints included designing and installing a new stormwater system within a compressed timeframe, and managing crane access around existing mature trees. The project also incorporated the school’s values through custom artwork integrated as wallpaper within the bathroom areas, creating a meaningful connection between the new facility and the school community.
