SHAPE partners with RF Corval to deliver Newcastle’s premium spec suites along the waterfront Honeysuckle precinct.

SHAPE were engaged via an ECI Construction Management procurement model to partner with RF Corval and deliver a new standard of spec suite to the Newcastle market along the Honeysuckle waterfront business precinct, triggering the first stage of a full building revitalisation

SHAPE partnered with 4pm projects from day one, managing the project’s design journey, from concept test fits through to turnkey occupation. This included directly engaging all consultants, overseeing iterative design and cost planning, managing all engineering and authority approvals, and supporting lease negotiations with integrated landlord works.

Each spec suite contained open plan workspaces, breakout spaces, acoustically rated meeting rooms, natural finishes, timber panelling, polished concrete floor and bespoke coffered ceilings.

One of the key challenges for this project was ensuring the cost feasibility for the client via an intensive value engineering process and nine iterations of the cost plan. Providing cost certainty and value for money for Corval was their key driver and a measure of success for the job which SHAPE delivered on.
