General Manager - Damian La Rosa
Career
Damian is a trusted industry professional that brings a wealth of building and construction experience to the role of General Manager of WA. Since joining SHAPE as a cadet more than 20 years ago, Damian has gained vast experience and knowledge spanning a range of disciplines, from site to commercial management. With his ‘hands on’ approach, he has grown SHAPE Perth from $20M annual turnover to $70M, and to more than 50 people. Damian is passionate about delivering successful projects, mentoring and developing the WA team, and maintaining SHAPE’s great culture.
Life
In his free time, Damian enjoys AFL, cooking and supports Fremantle. He believes in working ‘smarter not harder’.

Anthony Scurria
Project Director
Career
Anthony has joined SHAPE as Project Director, bringing over 20 years of nationwide experience and 14 years as a registered builder. He has successfully managed $450M worth of projects across commercial, civil, residential, healthcare, education, and government sectors. Anthony’s calm demeanour in leading diverse teams and overseeing large-scale projects from preconstruction to completion makes him a valuable asset as our team and capabilities continue to grow in WA.
Life
Anthony is a proud father of two and enjoys all things outdoors, including camping, fishing and traveling up and down the coast of WA with his family. He is also a loyal supporter of the Collingwood Magpies.
Michelle Germano

Michelle has been with SHAPE for more than 25 years. She is passionate about creating the perfect working environment and building a positive culture that values diversity and inclusion.
Life
Michelle helps run the local community AFL club, where she enjoys watching children, including her own, grow and develop their skills. She loves spending quality time with family and friends and looks forward to down time during the summer break. Most importantly, she adores her furbaby, Monty.

Chris’ passion for the construction industry is reflected in the way he manages his projects. Chris has a proven track record of delivering technically challenging, time-constrained projects. His extensive capabilities include overall strategic management, client liaison, budget management, and occupational health, safety & environmental (OHS&E) performance management. As Project Manager, his integrity and client focus ensure an enjoyable, successful experience for all parties concerned.

Being from the UK, Chris has a unique sense of humour. He’s also an avid supporter of Huddersfield United, and can often be found with UK treats, which get the team’s attention.
Jodie Priestly
Business Development Manager
Career
Jodie has over 16 years' industry experience ranging from customer relationship management, consulting, project management, employee engagement, and internal capability development. She joined SHAPE Perth as a Client Development Manager in July 2021 before being promoted to Business Development Manager in 2022.
Life
You’ll find Jodie at the beach in summer and the bush in winter. She loves spending time with her daughter, family, and closest friends. Eating amazing food and drinking fabulous wine is her favourite past time.
Chris Rigden

Career
Chris began his career as a builder’s labourer back in 2008 and has since had experience on client, builder, and developer sides. He also spent four years working in construction in the UK. Chris has fulfilled multiple roles project and site management, contract administration and quantity surveying across demolition, civils, refurb, heritage, fitout, and new build projects. This broad experience has given Chris extensive insight and knowledge of the construction industry.
Life
Chris is a hopeful West Coast Eagles fan and enjoys being in the ocean snorkelling, surfing, and kite surfing, spending time with friends, and running. His lifelong goal is to beat Jason Ngai in table tennis.

Career
Jason started his career at SHAPE in 2013, after completing his Construction Management and Economics degree at Curtin University. Since then, Jason has been an integral team member, leading the Estimating Team and supporting project teams throughout the project delivery. His extensive industry expertise and knowledge of SHAPE’s processes is invaluable in ensuring that offers are tailored to a client’s specific requirements. Having developed strong and lasting relationships with our network of subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants, Jason is also able to provide value engineering benefits that are passed onto our clients.
Life
Jason is the current ping pong champion of the Perth office. His favourite travel destination is the Blue Lagoon in Iceland, and he has a keen interest in both basketball and golf.
Yanik Sztor
Operations Manager
Career
As Operations Manager, Yanik has an active involvement in all WA projects. He has a breadth of knowledge gained within the Australian and UK construction industries. With over 25 years of experience as a registered builder, Yanik is technically competent and dedicated with a diverse range of skills spanning the entire construction and fit-out industry. He has site managed projects ranging from minor works to $20 million projects both throughout Australia and abroad. He’s quick to establish excellent working relationships with clients, consultants, and trades, making him an asset to any project.

Born and raised in Scotland, Yanik’s name was supposed to be spelt with a J (Janik), however the hospital misspelt it with a Y.

Andrew is a well-respected and highly experienced construction professional with more than 39 years in the industry. Having delivered many projects in occupied buildings, hospitals, educational facilities, and museums, he understands the importance of maintaining a safe work zone and minimising disturbance to operations. Believing open and honest communication is the key to a collaborative and smooth project delivery, Andrew ensures all stakeholders are informed throughout the entire project journey.
Life
Andrew is a proud husband and father, whose long list of hobbies includes scuba diving, flying planes, parachuting, mountain bike riding and fishing. He also loves boating and has completed the Avon Descent white water event through WA’s Avon and Swan Rivers seven times.
