Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV) Limited required a refresh of its existing rooms. SHAPE were engaged to complete an extensive upgrade aimed at modernising 323 rooms, which encompassed various configurations, and enhancing corridors to elevate guest experiences.
Amid this project, SHAPE confronted and overcame multifaceted challenges through innovative solutions, underscoring its unwavering commitment to excellence.
Navigating a live hotel environment posed challenges, prompting SHAPE to deliver the refurbishment in stages whilst employing strategic scheduling to minimise disruptions while ensuring guest comfort. Collaboration with contractors harmonised the delivery process through planning and shared communication channels that created a smooth program duration. Stringent security protocols were implemented to ensure guest privacy and safety throughout the refurbishment process.
Collaborating with DBI Design resulted in a fitout that sets a new standard for hotel refurbishments across Australia, thanks to its exceptional high-end design.
