On Friday 8 August 2025, SHAPE QLD hosted its Annual Charity Golf Day at the Brisbane Golf Club, bringing together 160 attendees, including 82 subcontractor partners, for a day of golf, games, and community support. The event was a resounding success, with a combined total of $75,000 raised for three worthy charities: Mates4Mates, Mater Little Miracles, and the McGrath Foundation.
Mates4Mates provides life-changing support and rehabilitation services for current and ex-serving Australian Defence Force members and their families.
Mater Little Miracles supports the purchase of vital medical equipment, research, and care for sick and premature babies at Mater Mothers’ Hospitals.
The McGrath Foundation funds and supports breast care nurses across Australia, offering free physical, psychological, and emotional support for individuals and families experiencing breast cancer.
The day teed off with friendly competition on the course and was packed with engaging activities including photo booths, DJs, massages, and a lively “pass the footy” challenge. The celebration continued off the green with lunch, presentations, and a lively raffle. The celebrations then carried through into the evening.
