SHAPE has proudly taken home four major awards at the Master Builders Association (MBA) NSW 2025 Excellence in Construction Awards, held on Saturday 18 October at the International Convention Centre in Sydney. The team was recognised across a diverse range of projects: CBRE Sydney Office Fitout in Interior Fitouts: $15 Million to $30 Million, Hilton Sydney Refurbishment in Hospitality Buildings -Refurbishment: $20 Million and Over, Gadens Relocation Project in Interior Fitouts: $8 Million to $10 Million, and Telstra Sydney Fitout for Safety Innovation.

From large-scale hotel refurbishments to intricate office fitouts and innovative engineering on live worksites, our people consistently bring technical skill and practical solutions to every project,” he said.
The winning projects showcase SHAPE’s versatility and capability across sectors. The CBRE Sydney Office Fitout at 363 George Street transformed over 6,000 square metres into a contemporary workplace that encourages connection and flexibility, with a strong focus on sustainable materials and innovative spatial design. The Gadens Relocation Project at Chifley Square delivered a high-end legal workplace featuring intricate joinery and carefully crafted finishes across multiple floors. The Hilton Sydney Refurbishment involved complex, multi-staged works in a live hotel environment, demonstrating the team’s ability to manage operational constraints while elevating the guest experience. The Telstra Sydney Fitout was recognised for Safety Innovation, where SHAPE and scaffolding contractor Above Scaffolding designed a self-supporting suspended catch deck to safely cut and remove a concrete slab on level 4 of an occupied building. This solution overcame significant structural and logistical challenges and required detailed planning, engineering sign-offs, and careful coordination, reflecting SHAPE’s commitment to raising safety standards across the industry.
