Nicholas Mills Appointed General Manager of SHAPE Northern Territory

We are pleased to announce the recent appointment of Nicholas Mills as General Manager of SHAPE Northern Territory.

Commencing with SHAPE in 2008, Nic has spent 13 years gaining experience across a range of diverse projects in a variety of project delivery roles.

During this time, Nic has worked across SHAPE’s New South Wales, South Australian and Western Australian branches. He returned to the Territory in 2017 to take on the role of Regional Manager.

Over the last four years as Regional Manager, Nic has played a significant role in expanding the Northern Territory branch and building a solid team, based in Darwin.

Following his recent appointment, Nic plans to continue this growth, progressively moving the branch into a larger category of work, expanding the range of projects, particularly in the Defence sector.

Nic attributes his career highlights to the people at SHAPE and his team. Their combined commitment to the business has been evident through the successful delivery of a significant range of projects.

More notably, Nic and the Northern Territory team have played a pivotal role in continuing to grow SHAPE’s Defence portfolio. He has been instrumental in ensuring his team has been able to successfully manage the various contracts and projects by developing and maintaining strong client relationships and fostering necessary processes.

Nic has also reached many personal milestones throughout his time working with SHAPE and since moving to the NT.

Over the last four years as Regional Manager, Nic has played a significant role in expanding the Northern Territory branch and building a solid team, based in Darwin.

He is a proud husband to wife, Nicole, and has celebrated the arrival of four boys during this time. Parenting four boys under the age of 10 certainly keeps his life interesting and is an entirely different adventure to running a business.

Outside of work, Nic enjoys spending time with his family, swimming to escape the Darwin heat, fishing, camping, and playing soccer.

SHAPE has enjoyed watching Nic’s career journey go from strength to strength and look forward to seeing what he and the entire NT team will achieve next.
