Three for three: SHAPE celebrates a winning night at MBA QLD’s Brisbane Housing & Construction Awards 2026
SHAPE Brisbane has celebrated a clean sweep at the 2026 Master Builders Queensland Brisbane Housing & Construction Awards, with all three nominated projects taking home an award on Friday, 24 July.
The Senex Multi Level Office Fitout won Commercial Fitout over $10 million, the Norton Rose Fulbright Brisbane Fitout won Commercial Fitout from $5 million up to $10 million, and the Grand View Hotel Refurbishment won Tourism and Leisure Facilities up to $10 million.
Together, the three awards recognise SHAPE Brisbane’s ability to deliver high-quality outcomes across complex commercial, workplace and hospitality environments.
Delivered across seven levels, the Senex Energy Office Fitout created a future-focused workplace for the organisation’s growing team. The 6,160sqm fitout included six interconnecting stairs, a control room, presentation spaces and new mechanical infrastructure. Early design involvement helped resolve complex services and base build interfaces before construction.
Norton Rose Fulbright’s Brisbane Fitout transformed two levels of 111 Eagle Street into a premium workplace designed for productivity, wellbeing and connection. Delivered within a live commercial tower over 13 weeks, the fitout included client areas, meeting suites, an executive hospitality lounge and a central staff hub. Premium finishes, custom joinery and carefully integrated services created a sophisticated workplace reflecting Norton Rose Fulbright’s global brand and professional standards.
The Grand View Hotel Refurbishment combined heritage restoration, fitout and new build works to revitalise Queensland’s oldest continuously operating hotel. The project included upgraded hospitality areas, a new commercial kitchen and the reconstruction of the upper terrace. Historic elements were carefully protected, including an early 1800s well uncovered during construction.
