We are the largest team out of all our capital cities and several major regional centers, functioning as our national head office. We specialise in fitout and refurbishment, facade remediation, design and construction, and new build projects. Our team has grown to over 150 professionals who come from diverse backgrounds and experience. Our leadership team promotes a culture of excellence, diversity, trust and professionalism, and are committed to the career development of our team, with 92% of Project Managers promoted from within the company.

We offer agile and responsive solutions for projects of all sizes, from $100k to $100m, and have an NPS of 97. In addition to our work, we’re proud to support charitable organisations and initiatives that focus on mental health and wellbeing, Indigenous reconciliation and sustainability. Our Sydney office is a 6 Star Green Star certified space that is environmentally friendly and supports our team in their work.

His broad experience in managing complex and challenging projects, coupled with his fantastic focus on strengthening client relationships, makes him a strong leader for the NSW team.

James loves nothing more than spending an afternoon with his family on the hill at North Sydney Oval, watching his beloved Northern Suburbs Rugby Club.

Career
As the leader of the People and Culture, Marketing, and Customer Experience functions at SHAPE, Kate drives strategic initiatives to achieve business goals. Since joining SHAPE in 2004, she has been pivotal in establishing a formal human resources department, enhancing leadership capabilities, and fostering a highly constructive organizational culture. Recently, Kate expanded her responsibilities to include marketing and communications, where she has been instrumental in developing and executing strategies that generate repeat business and promote long-term growth.

Life
Kate is a devoted mum of two who loves spending time with family and friends. She balances her love of good food and wine with staying fit, skiing in the winter, and going to the beach in the summer.

David Reid

Operations Manager

Career
David began his career as a carpenter over 30 years ago and has been a valued SHAPE team member since 2011. As the Operations Manager for NSW, David is responsible for monitoring and improving performance across all SHAPE projects. The role involves ensuring the best possible outcomes for all stakeholders, with a strong focus on coaching and mentoring of project and site teams. He oversees all aspects of project delivery, including OHS compliance, SHAPE systems, client services, time and quality requirements, and maintaining a regular site presence for monitoring and reviewing purposes.

Life
David loves fishing, summer, time spent on the boat, and remote travel around Australia with his family. David follows the Cronulla Sharks, but his favourite team is his Oztag team – a bunch of old mates and their sons who play weekly.

Career
Andrew has over 20 years of experience in both Australia and the United Kingdom and has been an integral part of the SHAPE team since 2008. Andrew’s specialist hotel and hospitality knowledge, site and project management background and unparalleled client focus ensure that each project is delivered to the highest standard. As Commercial Manager with an additional focus on leading strategic bids, Andrew guides the NSW bid team, identifying business opportunities, managing submission processes, and evaluating tenders. Andrew makes it his top priority to ensure our team comprehensively grasps critical client and project requirements from inception to completion.

Life
Andrew is very passionate about anything he sets his mind to. He has a love of mountain biking and the outdoors, which led to him becoming a member of Scouts for over 10 years. At university, he was part of the circus club and learnt how to juggle and perform backflips as a party trick.

Career
Steve has more than 20 years of project and contract management expertise in construction, fitout, and refurbishment projects in Sydney and London. He is skilled at leading large teams to deliver projects with unique technical, cost, and programme challenges, while ensuring a great customer experience for all stakeholders. Steve brings to SHAPE an extensive knowledge of design construct and traditionally procured projects, which have helped develop his collaborative approach to early contractor involvement (ECI) and construction management (CM) project deliveries.

Life
In his free time, Steve enjoys cycling, skiing, and scuba diving. He loves quiet weekends and having fun with his wife and young family in Sydney.

Career
Osman has over 20 years of experience in the building industry, both in architecture and construction. As a Commercial Manager, he has led the delivery of award-winning refurbishment projects and Green Star fitouts. Osman was integral in establishing the SHAPE+ delivery model and preferred partnership program with subcontractors, which has helped deliver the best outcomes for SHAPE’s clients. He always applies his technical experience, creative problem-solving skills, and innovative ideas to SHAPE projects big and small, as well as being passionately involved in SHAPE’s charity initiatives.

Life
Ossie has four children, including twin daughters. He loves football (soccer) and enjoys fishing in his free time.

Stephanie Bombardiere

Executive Assistant, Business Support

'Steph' 

Career
Steph began her career in Higher Education where she was responsible for compliance management, improving operational processes and implementing student management systems. In 2019, she entered the construction industry where her attention to detail and organisational expertise made her the perfect fit for the role of Receptionist at SHAPE Sydney. Steph has since worked on the Bid Team and is now Executive Assistant to the General Manager of NSW. Steph holds a Cert IV in Training & Assessment and a Diploma of Leadership & Management.

Life
Steph loves horse-riding, boxing and baking, though her toddler keeps her pretty busy these days! She takes every opportunity she can to travel and embarked on her first trip to Europe at just 17. She also loves spending time close to home by the northern beaches with her family.

Simon has more than 23 years’ experience in senior project management, bid management, and sales and marketing in the construction industry. Since joining SHAPE in 2009, Simon has held various positions including the Manager of Client Solutions, Bid Manager, and Business Development Manager. In his current role as Director of Business Development, Simon takes responsibility for both commercial sales momentum and managing key relationships.

Life
Originally from England, Simon loves travelling and spending time with his family. His hobbies include rugby, skiing, surfing, and enjoying a good meal.

Career
Luke brings more than 17 years of experience in the building and construction industry across all sectors of the Australian market. He has been an integral part of the SHAPE team since 2009, working across our Sydney, Perth, and Brisbane offices. As Estimating Manager, Luke leads the NSW Estimating team while ensuring a hands-on approach to developing and maintaining analytical knowledge of data from market forces and subcontractor input. He maintains excellent relationships with our trusted pool of subcontractors and always negotiates and obtains the best price for our clients. To ensure the budget stays on track throughout the project, Luke is involved from the ECI and pre-construction phase right through to construction.

Life
Luke has a love of mountain biking, squash, and the beach. Like every good Kiwi, his favourite sporting team is the All Blacks.

Career
Steve has over 24 years of project and construction management experience in both Sydney and London. He has a proven track record of delivering projects that are both technically challenging and within tight time frames. Steve brings to SHAPE an extensive knowledge of early contractor involvement (ECI), construction management (CM) and managing contractor (MC) deliveries which have helped develop his robust set of client-focused design management skills. Steve strives to create a unified project team that will make the entire project life cycle process enjoyable and ensure that you will want to work with SHAPE again.

Life
Steve finds it hard to choose between London and Sydney and keeps bouncing back and forth. He is a big fan of football (not soccer) and a lifelong supporter of Liverpool. Steve’s favourite holiday destination is anywhere with snow.

Stewart McLeod

Career
Stewart has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years. He started in the industry as a carpenter and has held positions such as a Site Manager, Senior Site Manager, Construction Manager, and now Operations Manager. Stewart is highly capable with complex construction projects in both high-end fitout along with heavy construction and complex services infrastructure. He joined SHAPE to drive the delivery of The Star Main Gaming Floor project which involved high-quality finishes, complex services and staging. Stewart’s cool and calm demeanour allows him to effectively manage large teams on very complex projects.

Life
Originally from New Zealand, Stewart loves summer, days at the beach, paddle boarding, ocean swimming, and the All Blacks. He enjoys travelling and seeing new places.

Sam Ciccia

Career
Sam has been in the construction industry for more than 20 years and has considerable experience in delivering new build, complex external refurbishments, and fitout projects. Having owned his own business, he is mindful of client requirements and delivery standards to ensure all expectations are met. Delivering cladding projects in live environments across NSW, Sam has demonstrated his ability to coordinate contract obligations, lead project teams, and ensure the highest safety standards. He is a qualified carpenter and joiner.

Robin Patrick

Career
With over a decade of industry experience, Rob has delivered more than $300m of complex construction, fitout, and refurbishment projects. Rob joined SHAPE in 2014 as a Project Engineer, progressing to Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and now Project Director. While at SHAPE, he has worked from start to finish with large clients such as the Rabobank, Allianz, Amazon, Ausgrid, and Salesforce.

Life
Rob loves all things boating, camping and fishing. His sporting team is the Manly Sea Eagles, and he is a proud dog dad.

Timothy Moore

Project Director

'Timmy' 

Career
Following in his father’s footsteps, Tim studied architecture but quickly realised he preferred construction management to design. He joined SHAPE over a decade ago as a Building Cadet in South Australia and has vast experience in the construction industry with substantial knowledge in all forms of contract delivery. In 2017, Tim relocated to Sydney and is now a Project Director. Since his first big project as a Project Manager, where he successfully delivered 10 floors in 12 weeks, Tim has been characterised by his ability to efficiently coordinate the procurement of trades, contract administration, on site delivery, and stakeholder management.

Life
Tim follows ‘real footy’ (AFL), supporting the hapless Adelaide Crows. He was a drummer throughout his university days and considers himself an Italophile, who makes a mean Tagliatelle al Ragù for his wife.
