The successful completion of the Tech Central Hub Workspace by SHAPE for Transport NSW (TfNSW) at 477 Pitt Street stands as a testament to collaborative design and construction excellence.
The project, which included open plan work points, flexible meeting rooms, focus rooms, and a community hub, was brought to fruition through the seamless integration of efforts between TfNSW, Aston Consulting, Hassell and SHAPE. Notably, the inclusion of a custom testing lab for transport traffic control equipment and a demonstration space underscores the innovative approach taken to meet TfNSW’s operational needs.
The design’s unique ceiling, wall, and floor finishes were meticulously coordinated to ensure they met the project’s fast-track schedule without compromising on quality. This attention to detail has resulted in a workspace that not only enhances the flexibility and dynamism for TfNSW staff but also reflects the high standards expected by a valued repeat client. The positive feedback from end-users and the client team further validates the project’s success, marking it as a significant achievement in the realm of contemporary workspace design and construction.
