SHAPE was engaged to complete a refurbishment of ShineWing’s Melbourne office as part of a national project, which also included the fitout of their new offices in Sydney and Brisbane.
The aim of the project was to align all three office locations, providing consistency in the design, layout and quality of each space. It was also an opportunity to bring new life into the existing Melbourne office, creating a bright and spacious environment for their staff to enjoy.
The scope of works included a new breakout space, a new reception area, upgrades to the two lobbies and acoustic upgrades, as well as new furniture, workstations, floor finishes, ceiling finishes and light fittings throughout. It also included a general refresh of the layout, with an upgrade to the fire services and the installation of supplementary units to provide additional airflow as a result.
SHAPE worked closely with PTID and ShineWing during the ECI phase to assist with the value engineering process. This relationship continued throughout the delivery phase, with the team facilitating regular site walkthroughs for the stakeholders to discuss changes to the scope and general progress of the project.
