SHAPE delivered the newest RACT retail fitout in the Spring Farm Village in Kingston, Tasmania, creating a modern retail environment that supports the organisation’s evolving member experience. As the second store to roll out RACT’s refreshed retail concept, the project strengthens the client’s presence in a growing residential area and improves access to services for the local community.
The 100m2 fitout was designed to reflect RACT’s brand values while providing a practical and customer-focused retail space. Works included the delivery of a contemporary store environment with finishes, fixtures and layout elements aligned to the client’s new concept and operational needs.
Delivered under a Lump Sum model, the project required close coordination between SHAPE, RACT, Rosevear Stephenson Architects and centre stakeholders to meet the targeted opening timeframe. The team carefully managed programme, approvals and tenancy interfaces to align the fitout with the broader Spring Farm Village development.
Working within a newly completed retail environment meant timing and stakeholder coordination were essential. The team managed access, procurement and integration with the wider base build programme to maintain momentum across the 10-week construction period.
The completed fitout gives RACT a high-quality new store that supports its ongoing investment in Tasmanian communities. The result is a welcoming and accessible retail space that continues the rollout of RACT’s updated retail approach in southern Tasmania.
The SHAPE team were a pleasure to work with throughout the Spring Farm Village project. From a standout tender submission through to delivery on site, they demonstrated genuine care for the client and the outcome. Their systems, particularly for RFIs and variations were easy to use and provided a great tracking platform and the team spirit they brought to the project made collaboration easy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend SHAPE to others.
