When People’s Choice Credit Union rebranded to People First Bank in 2024, their new identity came with a bold nationwide branch refresh program to reflect their updated branding and values. With a tight timeframe and the need to keep services running, People First Bank engaged SHAPE to deliver the transformation across multiple locations.
Between July 2024 and March 2025, SHAPE completed 16 branch fitouts across Australia, spanning metropolitan and regional areas including Mount Gambier, Berri, and Naracoorte. Each branch was delivered within a fast-tracked two-week programme. The scope varied by site, from updating finishes, furniture, and signage to more involved tenancy works such as electrical and mechanical upgrades. Careful planning and close coordination across our multi-state team helped maintain momentum as works moved from one location to the next.
SHAPE also embedded sustainability into the program, incorporating cost and time-saving measures such as reusing existing furniture where possible.
By managing all sites within one coordinated national framework, SHAPE ensured consistent quality, branding, and project governance, regardless of location.
