NDIA appointed SHAPE to complete a two-floor fitout for the national roll-out of NDIA across Australia.

The project goal was for minimal disturbance to the live building space and on-time delivery with minimal defects. The scope of works included high-end security fit-out with security swipe auto doors, a security monitored floor and a secure comms floor, over 63 workstations on level 2, and 40 workstations on level 3, three kitchens and breakout space and two large meeting rooms, with operable doors.

This project was large-scale and fast-paced for the Northern Territory. A key challenge was the high-end security fit-out and a small choice of subcontractors. To combat this concern, we managed subcontractors with weekly meetings to track progress and ensure safe practice. The site was also led by two different site managers to ensure efficiency.

The result was a delightful office space with an open and inviting reception area.
