SHAPE’s journey with investment management firm Challenger commenced in 2015, marked by the successful delivery of a transformative 10,000m² office fitout at the historic Commonwealth Bank Building located at 5 Martin Place, Sydney. This initial project laid the groundwork for an ongoing partnership focused on meeting Challenger’s evolving workplace needs.
Impressed by SHAPE’s dedication and expertise in blending modern design with the historic significance of the building during the initial fitout, Challenger engaged SHAPE’s Aftercare team to undertake ongoing maintenance and upgrades to enhance and preserve its workspace.
Over almost a decade, SHAPE has undertaken subsequent projects for the client, including the demolition of existing tenancies, installation of new stairs between floors, addition of breakout rooms and boardrooms, and conversion of open workspaces into boutique offices to accommodate Challenger’s growing staff.
Through ongoing aftercare services and proactive maintenance, SHAPE aims to extend the life of Challenger’s fitout and accommodate its heritage requirements, ensuring it remains a functional and inspiring workspace for years to come.
