Works took place on basement levels 1 and 2, ground floor, upper and lower mezzanine and levels 1 to 6. Our team had to deliver the project within a tight time frame to ensure that the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) could relocate from another location before their lease expired, so we carefully managed the programme to ensure this outcome was achieved. DEEWR also required value for money, so we implemented value management techniques to minimise costs.
By performing an integrated base build upgrade and a tenant fitout, we were able to save the client money and time and ensure that work on the project was constantly at the highest productivity level possible. The result was a high-quality fitout and a sustainable base build upgrade that improved the NABERS rating and increased the energy efficiency of the building for all tenants, including DEEWR.
