The 6-week project required the demolition of the existing fitout, including minor services amendments and upgrades to make way for the new fitout.
To create a more flexible working environment, the team upgraded all workstations to be open plan and introduced focus pods a private phone and chat rooms, including all AV requirements, lockers, and all new furniture and storage.
The project involved liaising with multiple interstate stakeholders, and SHAPE+ were required to mirror various fitout items from the MinterEllison Sydney and Canberra locations. In addition, due to Covid state border restrictions, SHAPE+ held regular video calls with stakeholders to close out design issues.
It was critical to the client that works were completed within a live environment so as not to disrupt daily business operations. Therefore, SHAPE+ ensured any noisy works were outside business hours, working earlier or later as required.
