Darwin Airport Concessions Fitout
SHAPE was engaged by Delaware North Companies to complete the first stage of a nine-stage concession fitout at Darwin Airport.

Previous experience in delivering secure fitouts meant our project team had expert capabilities in meeting the security needs of Darwin Airport.

Scope of works included three fitouts for Hungry Jacks, Bumbu Asian Restaurant and Giancarlo coffee. Construction occurred within the existing terminal where tenancies were previously located.

As the project had a particularly tight time frame, the team programmed works to meet this requirement by allocating suitable resources to ensure its scheduled delivery. The items that required particularly long lead times were identified during the tender phase to ensure the development of mitigation strategies.

Due to the nature of this fitout, it was of utmost importance that the design standards of the client were met. Previous experience in delivering secure fitouts meant our project team had expert capabilities in meeting the security needs of Darwin Airport, thus achieving a successful project delivery for Delaware North Companies.
