Sod-turning ceremony kickstarts the Nerang RSL & Memorial Club upgrade

Construction is set to commence at Nerang RSL & Memorial Club on the Gold Coast after a sod-turning ceremony hosted by SHAPE. The event was attended by representatives from the RSL and Subbranch, client project managers Madden & Associates and the SHAPE team.

The project aims to deliver a major upgrade to the Club and its current facilities, anticipated to be completed mid next year. The new development consists of a gaming room with a café / bar, function room and outdoor terraces, a refurbishment of the existing reception area, a reconfiguration of the existing car park and a new multi-level car park.

David Wood, General Manager – QLD at SHAPE, said: “Thank you to Madden & Associates and Nerang RSL & Memorial Club for entrusting SHAPE as their delivery partner for this remarkable project. It is an honour to be part of this collaboration and work together to create exceptional facilities that will elevate the member experience to new heights.

“The SHAPE team looks forward to delivering facilities which showcase the client’s commitment in the best possible way.”
