Foodbank SA – Murray Bridge Food Hub Developmemt

In addition to numerous volunteering and donation events, SHAPE also assisted Foodbank SA with the fitout of their Office in Edwardstown.

Following SHAPE SA’s Foodbank Edwardstown project, the team partnered with Foodbank SA once again to deliver a new Food Hub in Murray Bridge. The Food Hubs offer a shopping experience similar to a general store and provide the community with much-needed groceries and essentials.

The SHAPE SA Team donated their time and supervision for this project and was able to source discounted ceiling tiles from our supplier. Our generous subcontractor team also provided works at cost, with some fixtures being donated. SHAPE also organised for all lighting to be upgraded and rearranged through a government energy initiative – at no cost to Food Bank SA. The local Rotary Club also provided assistance by undertaking the demolition, painting and final clean for the project.

This combined support by our subcontractor team and local community enabled the project to be delivered at a low cost for the client, allowing them to focus their resources on supporting the community.
