The aim of this project was to achieve a point of difference in the market by providing top-quality finishes in conjunction with their prime location to maximise revenue.
The scope of works included:
- Conversion of three large penthouse suites into 24 new hotel rooms; two meeting rooms into four new hotel rooms
- Demolition of the existing shell and installation of new services, fire-rated walls and full fit-out of rooms, corridors and lobby
- Soft refurbishment of 76 existing rooms with new joinery, furniture, lighting and paint
The Lancemore Group needed this project completed with minimal noise and disruption to office tenants while keeping to schedules and budget. When issues affecting cost arose, our team was able to communicate quickly and effectively with the Lancemore Group so that any concerns could be resolved with ease. The team scheduled jackhammering works around times that were suited to the office tenants, so there was minimal disruption (this included out of hours work and Saturdays).
Overall, the project was a huge success and we were able to achieve Perfect Delivery. The finished product was a unique, high-end hotel with timeless appeal that has added value to the Lancemore brand and showcases SHAPE’s versatility as refurbishment and fitout specialists.
