We are proud to announce that over the weekend, two of our recent WA projects, William Square Northbridge and Joondalup State Government Fitout, received MBA awards.
William Square Northbridge received the 2019 MBA Award for Best Refurbishment ($10-20 million). This exciting project involved a make good, refurbishment to all base build bathrooms, an upgrade of the ground floor lobby, End of Trip facilities, security fencing and much more. As part of the overall development of William Square, our team also completed an upgrade to the building’s façade.
Joondalup was awarded the 2019 MBA Award for Best Building Fitout ($10-20 Million) and involved a refurbishment of seven floors in the client’s new office space. This included workstation areas and small rooms, labs with stainless steel benches, a ground floor area with a boardroom, a large training area and six breakout areas with kitchens.
The project highlight was a spectacular rammed earth wall – a unique concrete formed wall designed predominately with sand and cement to create a layered, patterned appearance. The building was also designed with each floor having a theme to reflect the layers of the earth. This included rock, forest, water and air, all with colour schemes and furniture that reflected the theme.
A huge congratulations to our hardworking WA team and all of our partners on this amazing achievement.
