Growing enrolments and a tight deadline?
Faced with growing enrolments for the 2026 school year, David Scott School needed a fast, efficient solution to increase capacity at its Frankston Campus.
David Scott School in Frankston required new learning spaces to replace its temporary classrooms, expand teaching capacity and improve student amenities. Modular by SHAPE provided an end-to-end modular construction solution, delivering a 563m² facility in just 13 weeks, ready for the start of Term 1.
The project delivered four classrooms with breakout rooms, a storage room and amenities, along with a large covered outdoor deck. A key priority for the school, the deck provides a sheltered area for learning and recreational activities.

Installed over the school holidays
Delivery was carefully planned around school operations and the academic calendar, with the team coordinating crane access around mature trees and incorporating a new stormwater system within the compressed programme. The project also incorporated the school’s values through custom artwork integrated as wallpaper within the bathroom areas, creating a meaningful connection between the new facility and the school community.
The result was a future-focused learning environment for a growing school, delivered on time, ready for staff and students at the start of the new term.
