SHAPE has raised an incredible $47,594 at its 2024 WA Charity Golf Day. Held at The Vines Resort, the event brought together more than 80 subbies and SHAPE’s people, united by a common purpose: to raise funds for Good Sammy and Telethon.
Good Sammy and Telethon are two remarkable organisations that have long been pillars of support in the Western Australian community. Good Sammy’s mission to create inclusive workplaces and create employment opportunities for West Australians with a disability.
Telethon has, for over five decades, been a beacon of hope for the community. Created by and belonging to the people of Western Australia, Telethon has seen generous donations that have significantly improved the lives of children now and for future generations.
During the event, the team had the honour of presenting a cheque for $20,000 to the CEO of Good Sammy, Kane Blackman. This generous donation will further their mission of fostering inclusive workplaces.
Additionally, more than $27,500 was presented by SHAPE’s General Manager Damian LaRosa and Business Development Manager Jodie Priestly to Telethon live on air on Sunday, 20 October, to support and uplift the lives of Western Australian children.
