Career:

Having held various positions at SHAPE over the past 10 years, Damian brings substantial and varied experience to the General Manager role in WA. He has a solid knowledge of building and construction after fulfilling roles from Site Manager through to Commercial Manager.

Damian’s vast experience spans a range of disciplines, comprising new build, commercial, refurbishment and office fitouts across hospitals, commercial offices, computer/data centres, retail outlets, courtrooms, hotels and base building upgrades. His extensive construction experience allows him to lead the WA team successfully and provides clients with reassurance for successful project outcomes.

About:

Ashby enjoys hockey and has played for 15 years. He is a Fremantle Dockers fan and has a chocolate Labrador named Charlie.

 

Career:

Ashby joined SHAPE Adelaide in early 2013. After managing numerous projects in Adelaide, he relocated to WA and delivered the $18 million Westpac Perth office fitout. This path led him to a promotion to Project Director for Perth operations.

Ashby actively oversees and supports all Perth project teams. His experience in the construction industry varies across many roles and sectors. Ashby has a particular strength and enthusiasm for customer service and satisfaction, executed at a high standard, as well as an excellent work ethic and a high level of commitment.

Jason is the current ping pong champion of the WA office. His favourite travel destination is the Blue Lagoon in Iceland, and he has a keen interest in both basketball and golf.

 

Career:

Jason started his journey at SHAPE in 2013 as a Building Cadet completing a Construction Management and Economics degree at Curtin University. He started his tenure with the Estimating department as an Estimating Coordinator in late 2013 and was promoted to an Estimator in 2015.

Born and raised in Scotland, Yanik’s name was supposed to be spelt with a J (Janik) however the hospital misspelt it with a Y.

 

Career:

As Construction Manager, Yanik has an active involvement in all WA projects. He has a breadth of knowledge gained within the Australian and UK construction industry.

With over 25 years of experience as a registered builder, Yanik is technically competent and dedicated with a diverse range of skills spanning the entire construction and fitout industry. He has site managed projects ranging from minor works to $20 million projects both throughout Australia and abroad. He’s quick to establish excellent working relationships with clients, consultants and trades, making him an asset to any team.
