Capital Pathology was looking for a new state-of-the-art headquarters in Canberra after occupying its previous space for 20 years.
This project involved the following features:
- In-house training facilities
- New pathologist labs
- Conference rooms
- Specialist pressurised testing rooms
They also required emergency power provisions and the subsequent installation of a standby generator for the tenancy, water treatment plant and other emergency provisions. During the four-month programme, a large amount of work was carried out in a live building, and understanding how to facilitate this process was essential to the project’s success. Having completed multiple healthcare projects within live environments, SHAPE delivered this project with ease and precision.
