Mirvac tendered the base building upgrades as part of their plan to rejuvenate the building and encourage new lease agreements. The project was completed in six stages to allow for minimal disruption to the building occupants. The works included:
- Refurbishment of the WA Bar Chambers floor tenancy
- Amenities and lift lobby upgrades across six floors
- VAV removal
- New wet fire services
- Full ceiling grid and tile replacement
This project required sharing the same floor plate with another builder and coordinating works with Mirvac. Our team commenced early discussions with building management, stating SHAPE’s position with the other contractor and inducted subcontractors through our policies and procedures. We also engaged with subcontractors, established lines of communication and outlined specifics required for each floor’s handover, which encouraged proactive management throughout the project.
