James loves all sports but has a real affiliation for rugby and skiing. He resides on the northern beaches, and enjoys his ocean swims and getting out for a round of golf.
James has over 17 years of project and contract management experience in construction, fitout and refurbishment in Sydney. In this time he has progressed through the roles of Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Project Director and now Commercial Manager.
His broad experience in managing complex and challenging projects, coupled with fantastic client service, has consistently produced excellent project outcomes.

Bruce has over 35 years of experience in the building and construction industry across all sectors of the Australian market. He has led the Estimating team at SHAPE since 2002.
Bruce specialises in project cost planning and the management of diverse and complicated refurbishment and fitout projects. Combining attention to detail with commercial reality, Bruce provides our clients with critical cost plan analysis and trade procurement management.
David loves fishing, summer, time spent on the boat and remote travel around Australia with his family.
David enjoys team sport, especially league and union.
He follows the Sharks, but his favourite team is his Oztag team – a bunch of old mates and their sons who play each week, all year round.
David began his career in the building and construction industry as a carpenter over 25 years ago and has been a valued SHAPE team member for seven of them.
As the Operations Manager for NSW, David is responsible for monitoring and improving project performance across all SHAPE projects. The role involves ensuring the best possible project outcomes for all stakeholders, with a strong focus on coaching and mentoring of project and site teams.
David oversees all aspects of project delivery, including compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS), SHAPE systems, client services, time and quality requirements and maintaining a regular site presence for monitoring and reviewing purposes.
Andrew is very passionate about anything he sets his mind to. He has a love of mountain biking and the outdoors, which led to him being a member of Scouts for over 10 years. At university, he was part of the circus club and learnt how to juggle and perform backflips as a party trick.

Phillip’s perfect day would include an early surf, a swim with the family, an afternoon nap and a BBQ with friends. His favourite sporting team is the Canterbury Bulldogs.

Phillip joined SHAPE in 2006 as a Project Manager and has since held several positions including Commercial Manager, Senior Commercial Manager, and most recently NSW General Manager.
Working both in Australia and the United Kingdom, Phillip has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He offers extensive project and financial management experience that ensure the best possible client outcomes. Phillip’s specialist fitout and refurbishment experience and his focus on strengthening client relationships makes him a strong leader for the NSW team.

Kate is a mum of two and enjoys running, playing netball and going to the gym to keep fit. She is a keen skier in winter, beachgoer in summer and a horse racing enthusiast.

Kate commenced with SHAPE in 2004 as the NSW Office Manager and assisted with the formal introduction of human resource services to SHAPE in 2006, before formally moving into the People and Culture area of the business.
Kate is responsible for the planning, organisation and implementation of all functions associated with the management of People and Culture including leadership development, organisational culture, learning and development, recruitment, remuneration, benefits and performance management. She also oversees the company’s Marketing & Communications function.
With a Diploma of Business (Human Resources), Kate enjoys being part of an effective leadership team that drives business results through highly engaged and motivated employees.
Steve lived and breathed the exciting world of fitout and refurbishment in London for seven years, and has been a dedicated SHAPIAN for the past 10 years.
In his free time he enjoys cycling, skiing and scuba diving. Steve loves quiet weekends and having fun with his wife and young family in Sydney.
Steve is passionate about ensuring a great customer experience for all project stakeholders. His varied project management experience includes 20 years leading construction, fitout and refurbishment projects in both Sydney and London.
Steve has a passion for delivering projects with unique technical, cost and programme challenges. He brings to SHAPE an extensive knowledge of design & build and traditionally procured projects, which have helped develop his collaborative approach to early contractor involvement (ECI) and construction management (CM) project deliveries.
Harlem loves mountain biking, road cycling and surfing.
He considers himself an expert in mid-80s music, particularly Midnight Oil, The Clash, XCT and New Romantics.
Harlem has over 30 years of experience in Australia, specialising in new build, fitout and refurbishment projects. In his time at SHAPE, Harlem has successfully delivered corporate sector projects such as the IBM head office at Cumberland Forest ($25 million), Asteron Insurance ($11 million), Capital Finance HBOS ($15 million), ABC Triple J, Anzac Memorial Hyde Park and CBA rollout ($20 million).
Harlem’s specialist industry knowledge, coupled with his site and project management background and unmatched client focus, ensures that every project is perfectly delivered. Harlem’s vast services experience complements his environmental sustainability and Green Star acumen.
Osman has four children, including twin daughters. He loves football (soccer) and enjoys fishing in his free time.

Osman has more than 17 years of experience in the building industry. He began his career in architecture and then moved into new build projects before taking a position in commercial fitouts at SHAPE.
As a Commercial Manager, most recently he led the delivery of an MBA award-winning refurbishment project – a first for SHAPE in this category. Osman always applies his technical experience, creative problem-solving skills and innovative ideas to all SHAPE projects big and small.
Originally from England, Simon loves travelling and spending time with his family. His hobbies include rugby, skiing, surfing and enjoying a good meal.
Simon joined SHAPE in 2009 as the Manager of Client Solutions. Since then he has held various positions including Bid Manager, Business Development Manager and, in 2017, was appointed Director of Business Development.
Simon’s corporate career spans 22 years, all of which have been dedicated to the construction industry. To date, his core experience has been in commercial fitout and refurbishment working in senior project management, bid management and sales/marketing capacities.
His current position sees him taking responsibility for both commercial sales momentum and managing all business development functions, whilst focusing performance on desired client outcomes.
Steven finds it hard to choose a favourite home (between London and Sydney) and keeps bouncing back and forth.
He is a big fan of football and lifelong supporter of Liverpool, and will never call it soccer!
Steve’s favourite holiday destination is anywhere with lots of snow so he can ski with his family.
Steve has over 23 years of project and construction management experience in the fitout and refurbishment sectors in both Sydney and London.
Steve has a proven track record of delivering projects that are both technically challenging and within tight time frames. He brings to SHAPE an extensive knowledge of early contractor involvement (ECI), construction management (CM) and managing contractor (MC) deliveries which have helped develop his robust set of client-focused design management skills.
Steve strives to create a unified project team that will make the entire project life cycle process enjoyable and ensure that you will want to work with SHAPE again.
Originally from NZ, Stewart loves summer, days at the beach, paddle boarding and ocean swimming. He enjoys travelling and seeing new places and his favourite sporting team is the All Blacks.
Stewart has worked in the construction industry for over 20+ years. He started in the industry as a carpenter and has held positions such as a Site Manager, Senior Site Manager and now Construction Manager.
Stewart is a trusted member of SHAPE and is capable of complex construction projects and excellent stakeholder management. His experience is in both high-end fitout along with heavy construction and complex services infrastructure. He joined SHAPE to drive the delivery of the STAR Main Gaming Floor project which involved heavy construction, high-quality finishes, complex services and staging. Stewart has a cool and calm demeanour which allows him to manage large teams on very complex projects.
Sam has been in the construction industry for over 18 years. He has gained a great deal of experience delivering both new build and fitout refurbishment projects. Prior to joining SHAPE 10 years ago, Sam worked for a tier one contractor delivering a range of new build and high complexity external refurbishments.
Sam is a qualified carpenter and joiner. Having owned his own business previously, he is very aware of client requirements and delivery standards to ensure all expectations are met.
