What skills and experience have you brought to the ACT Team
28 years of industry experience. Started out as an apprentice carpenter in the residential side of construction and worked my way up to Site Manager for the biggest builder in Australia (Lendlease). I have worked on projects ranging from $5k – $750mil and everything in between.

What Project/s would you say have shaped your career as a construction manager?
No 1 or 2 specific projects have shaped my career; rather the collective experience of working in the industry for so long on so many varied projects and working with so many talented and diversely skilled people have contributed to my current position.

However, a couple of notable projects would be:

  •  Winyu House in Gungahlin – $50mil new build which was my first project as a Site Manager for Lendlease. We won numerous industry awards including the MBA award for best commercial building in the category.
  • ANU Kambri Project – $270mil redevelopment of Union Court, which was my final project as Site Manager with Lendlease. At its peak we had 750 workers on site every day, 2 tower cranes, 7 buildings constructed simultaneously, all within the operational ANU campus.
